Main event: Lio Rush, Brody King, Chris Dickinson & Juice Robinson vs Team Filthy (Tom Lawlor, JR Kratos, Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs)

A stacked all star eight man tag will close out the night on Summer Struggle USA. Lio Rush has already been named the number one contender to Filthy Tom Lawlor’s STRONG Openweight Championship, and the clock is ticking to that title match taking place at Fighting Spirit Unleashed. Rush and Lawlor’s interactions will certainly be something to keep a fixed eye on tonight. Meanwhile, after last week’s main event, Violence Unlimited’s issues with the West Coast Wrecking Crew are far from over. Last week, it was JR Kratos that proved to be the difference maker, with a lariat on the outside to Brody King leading to Chris Dickinson taking the pinfall from Jorel Nelson. Violent revenge is in store tonight, and to help even the numbers, Juice Robinson is a heck of a ringer.

Juice returned to NJPW STRONG two weeks ago to respond to an open challenge from Hikuleo, and much to the Young Gun’s chagrin, left their Resurgence matchup with the W. Now Robinson wants to continue his upward trajectory. Will he be the difference maker tonight?

2nd Match: Karl Fredericks vs James Alexander

There is no doubt that Karl Fredericks has a lot on his plate right now. At Resurgence, the furious Alpha Wolf responded to a condescending rant from ‘real World Champion’ Will Ospreay by charging to the ring, eager to defend the honour of the LA Dojo against the Commonwealth Kingpin. Yet a pin has to be put in that issue for now; as Ospreay turned tail and returned to the UK, Fredericks had an outstanding challenge from Alexander James.

The well travelled ‘Pain Prince’ was victorious out of the gate a fortnight ago on NJPW STRONG against Kevin Knight, and was quick to issue a challenge to Fredericks. To James, Fredericks rerpesents the model product of the modern LA Dojo, and a training system that he wants to compare against his own sadistic and punishing development style. Who wins out in this special singles contest?

1st Match: The DKC, Adrian Quest & Wheeler Yuta vs Stray Dog Army (Bateman, Misterioso & Barrett Brown)

The action kicks off on STRONG this week with Friday night’s newest faction in action. The Stray Dog Army saw Barrett Brown, Misterioso and Bateman come together on the road to Resurgence two weeks ago, frustrated at a perceived lack of opportunity and being bumped off the main card at the L.A. Coliseum. The group has vowed to stick a knife in the side of their opposition and twist, bleeding NJPW STRONG dry for their own gain. In the opposite corner tonight are men in Wheeler Yuta and Adrian Quest who each impressed at resurgence, along with the DKC, who continues to make exciting progress in the L.A. Dojo.  Who can make a definitive statement tonight?
