New Japan Pro-Wrestling is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of STARDOM’s Hana Kimura.

The daughter of acclaimed joshi star Kyoko, Kimura was a second generation pro-wrestler. She debuted in  March 2016 in the WRESTLE-1 promotion before transitioning to STARDOM in 2019 and quickly becoming one of the group’s most prominent stars. 

Kimura wrestled in the special STARDOM Exhibition match on night one of Wrestle Kingdom 14 on January 4.

Hana was a wonderful and gentle soul, beloved by the wrestling community. 

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s deepest sympathies go to Kimura’s family, friends and fans.
