One Winged Angel , V trigger, Croyt’s wrath
The charismatic, yet enigmatic, former leader of the BULLET CLUB. After debuting in Canada in 2000 it was clear Omega would be one to watch. Towering over many in Junior Heavyweight division, his powerful, and at times reckless, style garnered attention from wrestling fans around the world. He made the switch from DDT Pro Wrestling to New Japan in 2014 and quickly began plotting a course to the top. January 2016 proved fateful for Omega, as he ousted AJ Styles to become leader of the BULLET CLUB. Having transitioned into the Heavyweight division through rigorous training, Omega has held the IWGP Intercontinental title as well as the distinction of being the only foreign wrestler to win the G1 CLIMAX.
In June 2018, he defeated Kazuchika Okada in a best 2 out of 3 falls match to be crowned the IWGP Heavyweight champion, and held the championship until Wrestle Kingdom 13. In a battle with G1 Climax 28 winner Hiroshi Tanahashi, Omega’s title and his very philosophy when it came to professional wrestling was being defended. Ultimately, Tanahashi came out on top, and Omega hasn’t been seen in NJPW since.
