Finlay Finessed by Bey on IMPACT 【NJoA】

Chris Bey scores one for BULLET CLUB on IMPACT

As he tried to bounce back from a bitter defeat to Jay White at Resurgence, David Finlay took on Chris Bey one on one this week on IMPACT, the newest member of BULLET CLUB looking to get a statement win and to impress recruiter Switchblade Jay White.

Finlay started fast against Bey with strikes in the corner. Trying to pick up steam and use his environment to his advantage, Bey almost misdirected Finlay on the apron, but the ring awareness of the former IWGP and IMPACT tag champion paid off with an effective dropkick. Yet with some leverage afforded by a handful of tights, Bey brought Finlay throat first to the middle rope, and a neckbreaker allowed the Finesser to take control.

Kicks from Bey would fire Finlay up, but the BULLET CLUB newcomer wrestled effectively with a sleeper and cravate suplex. Yet ego would get the better of Bey, and as he took too long to set up the Art of the Finesse, he was dumped to the floor by Finlay, who let fly with a plancha. An apron suplex followed and a diving European uppercut would get two, but Bey would escape the Irish Curse backbreaker, and rattled off a barrage of kicks.

The backbreaker worked on the second time of asking, and though Bey repeatedly avoided the Trash Panda, a Blue Thunder Bomb scored for two. Finlay was insistent on getting the Trash Panda that Bey had too well scouted; as he was pressured into the corner, the Finesser used a body scissors into a roll-up with two feet on the ropes to secure victory.
