CHAOS’ record breaking reign crashes to an end at the hands of HOUSE OF TORTURE

The first of six title matches at Power Struggle on November 6 saw HOUSE OF TOPRTURE’s EVIL, SHO and Yujiro Takahashi unite to challenge record breaking NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI of CHAOS. 

The champions were not going to wait for a customary pre-match ‘too sweet’ and charged ther challengers, before isolating Dick Togo for a satisfying center ring drum solo. As the match settled, it was Yujiro legal with Goto, albeit in illegal form, Takahashi biting Goto’s hand to get out of trouble, and then sending him into the EVIL exposed blue turnbuckle. 

Goto remained in the challengers’ corner until a rolling lariat to SHO and back suplex to Yujiro created a tag to Ishii. The Stone Pitbull tore into former CHAOS teammate SHO, and absorbed a spear, and heavy kicks, but a rake of the eyes and EVIL’s assist led to a second spear felling Ishii. YOSHI-HASHI would make EVIL pay for his transgression with a Headhunter neckbreaker and combo strikes, but a parade of distractions would see EVIL and the challengers work back into the match and into control of YOSHI-HASHI.

Darkness Falls would connect to the Headhunter, and Togo would be present for a Magic Killer out of sight of a stunned referee to get two. YOSHI-HASHI stayed in the running though, and flung EVIL into the exposed steel and then Togo to pick up his own nearfall. As Goto and Ishii landed stereo Ushigoroshi to SHO and Yujiro, YOSHI-HASHI delivered a Snapdragon suplex and a lariat before Kumagoroshi, but he couldn’t pick up the win. 

As YOSHI-HASHI set for Karma, EVIL backed the referee into the ropes, and allowed Togo, Yujiro and then SHO to get involved with weapons. The HOUSE OF TORTURE tactics foiled, the Violent Flash put EVIL down, and then Lights Out led to a surefire victory… but Togo pulled the referee out before the three was counted. 

Togo would again choke out Ishii as SHO used a wrench to lay out YOSHI-HASHI. The Headhunter was now easy pickings for EVIL, and new champions were crowned. Post match, HOUSE OF TORTURE took scissors to the CHAOS towel they had brought to ringside, and put the boots to CHAOS, only for YOH to return and send the new champions running.
