United Empire reign on STRONG 【NJoA】

Great-O-Khan, Aaron henare, TJP close night as Mascara Dorada demasked again

The main event on NJPW STRONG saw six man action as United Empire’s Great-O-Khan, Aaron Henare and TJP took on Brody King, Mascara Dorada and Taylor Rust.

After early exchanges, it would be powerful strikes from Henare that saw him take over on Rust. Dorada would elevate the pace with TJP, but a thumb to the eye and a dropkick over midair would see the luchador trapped in the United Empire corner. After some painful and humiliating offence, it would be a double dropkick that created some distance for Dorada, and King would await the tag.

The Big Bad would tear into the United Empire trio, but a lariat to O-Khan was stopped with an expert judo takedown. With the match breaking down, O-Khan wanted the Eliminator, and though King fought his way out, Henare would provide the assist. Dorada would hit the ring to break things up, leaving Rust legal with Henare; the Gaia Lock nearly secured a win, but TJP and O-Khan would get back inside. A berserker Bomb led to a Mamba Splash, and then the Imperial Drop for the United Empire win.

Post match, as O-Khan talked up the might of the United Empire, Mascara Dorada would be unmasked once again by TJP, the Public Enemy sure to be in Dorada’s firing line when he returns to the States.

Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow of the Factory would take on Karl Fredericks and Clark Connors of the LA Dojo on STRONG. With the support of the Hollywood fans, Connors and Fredericks took the fight to the Factory, but QT Marshall would see to it that their advantages were only temporary. The devious Solow and the huge Comoroto showed their might, but when Yuya Uemura cut off Marshall, Solow was left alone with Connors, and tasted the Trophy Kill.

Post match, QT Marshall would take to the mic and challenge Fredericks to a singles match down the line, a challenge Fredericks would accept, as the Vermont booed the Factory out of the building.

91-1

The first match of the night saw Ren Narita and Chris Dickinson face off. Intense strikes and expert grappling saw both fight hard for victory, but neither attained it; as time ran out, Narita found a ground Cobra, but time elapsed before the three count.
