Bastard Beats Rhino to Claim AEW All Atlantic Gold 【NJoA】

PAC becomes AEW’s first ALL-Atlantic Champion

In a battle to determine the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, Miro, Pac, Malakai Black, and Clark Connors went to war in a vicious four-way match at Forbidden Door on June 26th. As referee Bryce Remsburg called for the bell, Pac made a beeline for his rival, Black and the two seemed to wage a war of their own, leaving Miro and Connors to their own devices. As Miro slammed Connors to the floor on the outside of the ring, Pac tried what would have been an impressive sunset flip off the top turnbuckle, but Black countered it with a backflip of his own and caught Pac with a deadly knee strike. When first Miro, then Connors rushed in to take on Black, he was able to counter both of their attempts, taking out a recuperating Pac for good measure.

As the dust settled, Connors found himself face to face with Miro again and managed to stay alive as the big man doled out punishment. When Black rolled Pac into the ring and started putting the boots to his rival, Miro lost interest in Connors and tossed him aside to join in on the Pac stomp down. Black and Miro seem to form a shaky partnership in an attempt to eliminate Pac, but their cooperation was short-lived, and the two men quickly turned on each other. As Pac regained his strength and Connors made his way back to the ring, the four men unleashed blow after blow until all four competitors were down.

Black was the first to recover and propped a table up against the guardrail, seemingly determined to win this match by any means necessary. He rolled a still reeling Miro from the ring and tried to throw the large man through the waiting table. Miro countered and drove Black’s head into the steel ring steps. As Black clung to consciousness on the floor, Pac tried to hit Miro with a crossbody, only to be snatched out of midair. Pac managed to escape Miro’s clutches and shoved him headfirst into the ring post. As Miro stumbled, still somehow on his feet, Connors flew in out of nowhere to spear Miro through the table. Fired up, Connors hit a spear then the Trophy Kill on Pac after taking out Black with a power slam. Connors nodded his head as he grabbed a deep cover on Pac, sure he was the winner, but Black pushed Conners off the prone Pac to foil his victory.

As the four men continued to battle, Black and Connors set up for a superplex on Pac, but Miro came in at the last minute and threw all three men to the mat. He cleared Pac and Black from the ring and isolated Connors, stomping the LA Dojo alumni’s spine and locking in his Game Over submission. It seemed certain Connors would tap out, then Black walked up to Miro and spit his Black Mist into Miro’s eyes. Connors rushed at Black but was quickly caught in an armbar. As he tried to counter the hold, Pac hit a 450 splash from the top on Black, then seized Connors in the Brutalizer to earn the win and the AEW All-Atlantic Championship.
