Rosser Retains after wrangling the Octopus in New York 【NJoA】

Fred Rosser moves to V5 with STRONG gold

Order the Rumble on 44th Street replay!

Rumble on 44th Street in new York on October 28 saw Jonathan Gresham answering Fred Rosser’s open challenge. As Gresham had the early advantage on the mat, Rosser would try and bring the fight to the floor, but an apron suplex would be met with a figure four that had both men spilling to the concrete.

The champion was in his element on the floor though, and delivered a back body drop that had his challenger in a world of trouble. Gresham fought to avoid Rosser’s Crossface Chickenwing, but was still on the back foot as he tried to throw with the champion, being rocked by a hard right. Still, the champion’s base was still endangered, and Gresham went to an Indian Deathlock.

Rosser escaped his predicament with a second try at the apron suplex that was this time successful, but Gresham was able to go right back to the figure four, torturing Mr. No Days Off who just barely made it to the bottom rope. A German suplex followed for a very near two, but as Gresham got on his horse, he was met with a wild lariat. Rosser followed up with a searing rally of lefts and rights and then the Emerald Flowsion to record his fifth defence.
