Big matches set for Nemesis in Vermont Hollywood! 【NJoA】

Last tapings of the year to see big matchups

December 11 will see NJPW STRONG return to the Vermont Hollywood for the last tapings of the year. Seven matches have been made official for what is guaranteed to be a very special event!

NJPW STRONG Tapings: Nemesis TICKETS

Jay White and El Phantasmo will face Hikuleo and Alan Angels in the Vermont. With Hikuleo wrestling three days before his NEVER Openweight Championship match with Karl Anderson, and Jay White set to face Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship January 4 in the Tokyo Dome, the championship landscape may well be very different by the time the Nemesis matchups make air. Might it still be the Switchblade Era in 2023? Or will December 11 see hints of a whole new one?

Jeff Cobb will take on Bad Dude Tito in Hollywood. While Jeff Cobb’s 2022 didn’t hit the dominant peaks of the year prior, the big man struck fear in the hearts of every opponent all the way through the year, and he’ll be setting his sights on gold in 2023. Meanwhile, Bad Dude Tito was a revelation this year and should be set up for greatness of his own creation in the next, but Cobb seeks to show that there’s only one Imperial Unit in NJPW.

Making his second straight Vermont Hollywood appearance, KENTA goes one on one with QT Marshall. KENTA does not shy away from controversy, nor from the boos of the crowd, but he’ll be in the rare position of fan favourite when he takes on Hollywood’s most hated man, The Factory’s Marshall.

Mistico is back on STRONG as he takes on Misterioso. After an impressive NJPW STRONG debut during Autumn Action, Mistico will be looking to make a big wave before heading to Japan with his CMLL teammates.

After making their first appearance on STRONG as a tag team opposite Mascara Dorada and Lince Dorado on the Detonation series to air soon, C4 face the West Coast Wrecking Crew. Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs have admitted a need to get stronger together heading into 2023, and want to use C4 as a launching pad but their fellow Pacific northwest veterans won’t let that happen easily.

Che Cabrera takes on Mascara Dorada. ‘Latino Meat’ has been impressive in his STRONG appearances to date, but hasn’t been able to record a win. Meanwhile as Fantasticamania approaches in Japan, Dorada will further his own brand of lucha libre on STRONG.

Blake Christian takes on KEiTA. After steady improvements through his appearances on STRONG in 2022, KEiTA wants a long awaited first singles win. But as Christian has his own grand plans for the year to come, he will be a difficult man to beat.
