Free kickoff sees two matches

Hype is huge for Battle in the valley on February 18 in San Jose. With the major announcement of KAIRI vs Mercedes Moné pushing tickets to a near sellout, fans not in California will be watching from around the world on FITE PPV.

Battle in the Valley TICKETS (last seats!)

Watch LIVE on FITE!

There’ll also be a special chance to sample the atmosphere an action free with the Battle in the Valley kickoff pre-show! Starting at 6:20 PM local time, the preshow event will air free on FITE and YouTube with the following two matches:

David Finlay will take on Bobby Fish. Fish recently joined NJPW STRONG and Team Filthy to back up former training partner Tom Lawlor and Danny Limelight in the face of Homicide’s fury. With Homicide recruiting Finlay for his family fighting history and a reputation furthered with a string of great performances in 2022, The Rebel now seeks his first major singles victory of ’23, while Fish wants to strike one for Team Filthy.

The Android Alex Coughlin finally gets in the ring with Jr Kratos in a match over a year in the making. When Coughlin underwent a trial series to graduate from Young Lion status, his last opponent was Kratos, leading to an NJPW STRONG match that ended with an immense German Suplex and the biggest win of Coughlin’s career.

Yet Kratos was furious and demanded a rematch, one that was denied him through fate and injury. Now the Android is fully ready to face the Most Feared; both men have undergone major growth in the back end of 2022 as Coughlin embarked on the World Tag League tour and Kratos challenged for the STRONG Openweight Championship- who will show the benefit of that experience on February 18?
