Two more matches for increasingly stacked card
As March 30’s card for Multiverse United: Only the STRONG Survive, in the sold out Globe Theater in LA, grows ever more loaded, a pair of big tag bouts have been signed.
Made official earlier today was a four way match for the IMPACT Tag Team Championships. Brand new champions Ace Austin and Chris Bey are eager to rubber stamp their reign, and to represent BULLET CLUB strong in the process. yet former IMPACT belt holders and reigning STRONG Openweight Tag Champions the Motor City machineguns are eager to become double champions once again.
Yet one cannot discount the other two teams in this mix. Aussie Open are hungry to get to the top of the IWGP Tag Team mountain, but will be more than happy to take IMPACT gold along the way. Meanwhile the ever unpredictable Shane Haste, and the powerful force that is Bad Dude Tito make for an imposing TMDK force in this clash, with the odds strongly against even the highly gifted champions retaining.
Meanwhile, eight man action will see blended teams from both IMPACT and NJPW. Fred Rosser and Tom Lawlor’s rivalry is the stuff of NJPW STRONG legend, and IMPACT fans will be given a taste of the combination that scored three straight match of the year awards among STRONG fans. Rosser and Lawlor couldn’t ask for better partners, as two more mortal enemies in Alex Coughlin and JR Kratos join the action. Meanwhile IMPACT’s PCO and Callihan have their own scores to settle with Eddie Edwards and Joe Hendry in what’s sure to be a wild affair.
