Ahead of September 24’s KOPW 2023 bout between SHO and Taichi in Kobe, voting is currently underway to determine the match rules. 

Taichi has proposed a Seconds Handcuffed Match, wherein members of HOUSE OF TORTURE will be handcuffed to members of Just Five Guys through the bout to prevent interference. 

For his part, SHO has suggested a 10 Minute Guaranteed Decision Match. In this bout, should the ten minute time limit be reached, the match will be awarded to SHO. Additionally, Taichi will be banned from using the Black Mephisto.

SHO also stated that additional rules may follow ‘on account of the weight difference between he and Taichi, or as circumstances demand’.

At SHO’s request, one such rule will be that Taichi is forbidden from using the Dangerous Backdrop.
