New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s streaming service NJPW World will be undergoing a renewal, with the refreshed service launching on Thursday November 9 at 6PM Japan time.

 To allow migration to the new service, the following actions will be unavailable to users between Monday November 6 at 12PM JST and Thursday November 9 at 6PM JST. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

• New account registration
• Account cancellation
• Cancellation of monthly payments
• PPV content purchases
• Changing email addresses

After the service is renewed, you will be asked to reset your password on your account. In order to perform this action, you must be able to receive email from us, so please double check your registered email address before Monday November 6 at 12PM JST.

• If you have forgotten your registered email address, please fill out a support ticket here.
• Users will not be able to reset their registered email immediately after the renewal. Those wishing to change their registered email should do so on the current NJPW World service before 12noon JST on November 6.

Users’ monthly NJPW World subscriptions, as well as purchased PPV content listed below will have their purchased content and subscriptions automatically carried over to the new version of the service. There is no need to register again.

Your favorite list and view history will now carry across different browsers and devices (previously favorites and view histories were not saved online)

【On the Amazon Fire TV App】

The current NJPW World app for Amazon Fire TVs will no longer be supported after the renewal . A new app for Amazon Fire TVs will be available to install in its place after the renewal.

Be aware that as of September 29 2023 at 6:35 PM JST, those who have monthly subscriptions paid through Amazon via the app no longer have automatic payments active and will have their subscriptions cancelled.

For those wishing to continue using the service, please register from the NJPW World website.

Q: Can I watch PPVs I’ve purchased on the new service?

A: Yes. Purchases with unlimited replays will still be viewable on the new service automatically.

Q: I don’t want to stay subscribed under the new price point. What should I do?

A: The new price point will come into effect on Friday, December 1 at midnight JST. Those who wish to unsubscribe or delete their accounts must do so before that date.  

Q: I’m a continuing subscriber. After the renewal, can I pay for my subscription in US Dollars? 

A: Subscribers continuing from the prior version of NJPW World will continue to be charged in Yen, under the new price point of ¥1,298 JPY, converted to your local currency. The international price point of $9.99 USD applies to new accounts only. We appreciate your understanding..

Q: Will the pricing change for NJPW World on Prime Video?

A.『NJPWWORLD for Prime Video』is a service available to Prime Video users in Japan, and is separate from NJPW World. As a result, Amazon Prime subscribers can continue using NJPW World for Prime Video at the same price of 888 JPY (incl tax)
