After the events of December 21’s Road to Tokyo Dome card, changes have been made to tonight’s scheduled matches on the final event of the year.

In place of scheduled singles matches between the members of Catch 2/2 and BULLET CLUB War Dogs, the two teams will instead face off in a first ever for NJPW Coffin Match. In this tag team Coffin bout there are no disqualifications and the match can only end when one member of a team is shut inside a coffin at ringside. IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Drilla Moloney and Clark Connors brought the coffin to ringside on December 21 in a bid to win mind games with Catch 2/2 but TJP and Francesco Akira were having none of the intimidation, instead issuing the challenge to a first time bout. Incredibly happening before the two teams meet January 4 for the junior heavyweight tag championships, just what could happen in this highly dangerous match type?

One bonus match has also been added to the card as Young Lions Katsuya Murashima and Shoma Kato will be in action. Kato will team with Togi Makabe and Murashima with Kojima in a match that sees the two youngsters looking to end the year strong.
