Four Championship Matches Official for Resurgence May 11! 【NJoA】

NJPW’s biggest ever SoCal event sees IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the line

Resurgence May 11 Toyota Arena Ontario CA TICKETS

It’s a huge spring for NJPW around the world. After April 12’s Windy City Riot in Chicago’s Wintrust Arena, New Japan will head to Taiwan on April 14, before the Road to Dontaku series gets rolling in Japan to end in the Fukuoka International Center. Then on May 11, it’s Resurgence in the Toyota Arena in Ontario California, for the biggest Southern California event in NJPW history, now made even bigger!

Four titles matches are officially confirmed for Resurgence, with the biggest of all being for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Currently held by Tetsuya Naito, whoever bears the belt will put the hardware on the line at Resurgence against its number one contender. 

All NJPW STRONG Championships will also be pn the line. Eddie Kingston currnetly bears the STRONG Openweight Championship- will he by May 11, or indeed after it? Who will compete for the STRONG Openweight Tag gold? And one year after the STRONG WOmen’s Championship was inaugurated at Resurgence 2023, it will be defended in the Toyota Arena!
