New Japan Pro Wrestling regrets to announce that owing to lasting damage to his left biceps tendon, Rey Mysterio Junior will not be able to compete at Strong Style Evolved on March 25. 

Rey was eager to have his first match in NJPW, and did all he could to try and rehab the injury in time for the show. Unfortunately, he is not medically cleared to compete in LA.

In place of the scheduled match between Rey Mysterio Junior and Jushin Thunder Liger at Strong Style Evolved, Liger will face IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay in a non title match. 

We sincerely apologize to fans who were looking forward to seeing Rey Mysterio Junior wrestle, and appreciate your understanding and continued support.
