On May 10, NJPW Young Lions Shota Umino and Ren Narita visited the National Center for Child Health and Development in Tokyo’s Setagaya district. Narita and Umino visited the NICU (the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for newborns), and the experience of seeing new life before their eyes and talking to hospital staff really seem to move both young wrestlers.
Next, the two headed to the rehabilitation ward to visit the children and support them in their recovery. NJPW will continue to work with the National Center for Child Health and Development, with wrestlers visiting the hospital once every two months to spur on kids recovering from illness and injury.
