On June 23, Tomoaki Honma makes a long awaited return, as he teams with Hiroshi Tanahashi, Togi Makabe, Toa Henare and Ryusuke Taguchi to face Los Ingobernables De Japon.

On March 3 2017, Honma suffered a severe spinal injury during a match in Okinawa that left him temporarily paralysed. Honma embarked on over a year of rigorous rehab and recovery before addressing fans on June 3.

Honma has some impressive back up, including his GBH tag partner Makabe, the Ace Tanahashi and Coach Ryusuke Taguchi. His hometown Yamagata fans will be happy to see Honma back, and even happier if Honma can score a Kokeshi!
