There were two official “SUPER Jr. TAG LEAGUE 2018” matches. First, BULLET CLUB’s Taiji Ishimori & Robby Eagles took on the Suzuki Gun team of Yoshinobu Kanamaru & El Desperado fighting against each other. The Suzuki-gun team pinned Eagles with cunning tactics and flaunted their IWGP Jr. Tag Belt.

With both teams on 1 win and 2 losses, KUSHIDA & Chris Sabin faced the team of Ryusuke Taguchi & ACH in the second official match of the “SUPER Jr. TAG LEAGUE.” KUSHIDA beat ACH with the use of a Hover Board Lock at the end of a close battle. This win has allowed team KUSHIDA to crawl back to two wins and two losses a piece.

Consequently, Roppongi 3K and the L.I.J team are currently in joint 1st place with 3 wins and 1 loss each. Team KUSHIDA, the BULLET CLUB team, the Suzuki-gun team, and Jyushin Thunder Liger team, each have 2 wins and 2 losses.

The 10-man tag match between CHAOS vs BULLET CLUB’s, Jay White destroyed Rocky Romero with a brutal Blade Runner. Again, and Gedo grabbed the microphone a proclaimed “This is no longer the Okada era”. On the other hand, Okada ridiculed the turncoats saying, “Thankfully the ‘Rotten oranges’ have removed themselves from my presence.”

Tomohiro Ishii and Minoru Suzuki, who have a championship match for the British Heavyweight Championship on November 3 (Saturday) in Osaka who, also fought hard in a preliminary skirmish for their upcoming event. There was also a repeat of the backstage scrap from the previous night.

Hirozu Tanahashi & Toa Hennare faced off against Yujiro Takahashi & Chase Owens with Owens slamming Henare with a Jewel Heist. Liger, Tiger & Shota Umino took on Volador Jr. & Soberano Jr. & Ren Narita. Soberano Jr. beat the Umino with a Modified Pile Driver.
