The card for the entrants in the New Japan Cup have been released

Yuji Nagata vs. Tomohiro Ishii

As tensions heat-up between Nagata and Ishii, they find themselves in direct opposition in the first round of the New Japan Cup. Expect a ferocious and uncompromising fight between these two hardened warriors.

Tomoaki Honma vs. Taichi

Having been left out of the G1 Climax 28 and Wrestle Kingdom 13, Taichi looks to make his mark in this year’s new Japan cup. Taichi looks to go further than his first round exit last year, whilst Homna returns to the New Japan Cup for the first time since 2016.

Manabu Nakanishi vs. YOSHI-HASHI

Since returning from injury, YOSHI-HASHI has received mixed results in his matches, drawing the distain of his former Chaos teammate, IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White, who sarcastically named him as his preferred opponent. Can YOSHI-HASHI silence his critics or will he succumb to the experience and wrestling sense of “The Ruffian” Manabu Nakanishi

Juice Robinson vs. Chase Owens

With Singles Champions being allowed to compete for the New Japan Cup this year, the IWGP US Champion, Juice Robinson, looks to unite the two titles at Madison Square Garden. In his way is The Crown Jewell, Chase Owens, who has re-affirmed his loyalty to the BULLET CLUB and seems to be adapting to the ruthless ‘New Era’ very well.
