Road to Wrestling Dontaku night 2 results

Night two of the Road to Wrestling Dontaku Tour took place on Sunday April 14 from New Sunpia in Takasaki.

Full results and match photos here!

Main event: Los Ingobernables de Japon (SANADA, EVIL, BUSHI, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito) defeated CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada, SHO, YOH, Rocky Romero and Tomohiro Ishii) when EVIL submitted SHO.

A rematch of the first night of the tour saw LIJ take on CHAOS in ten man tag action. The end result was the same, with Los Ingobernables having their hands raised. EVIL used his Scorpion Deathlock for the win on SHO, as he asserts his dominance ahead of his Dontaku bout with Tomohiro Ishii.

6th match: Suzuki-Gun (Zack Sabre Junior, TAKA Michinoku and Taichi) defeated Jyushin Thunder Liger, Kota Ibushi and Tomoaki Honma when ZSJ submitted Honma.

The match centered around Ibushi seeking revenge on Sabre after night one saw Sengoku Lord’s Intercontinental challenger attack the champion and pose with the white and gold belt. In the end though, Takasaki saw a replay of night one, with Zack standing tall after Honma submitted.

5th Match: Bullet Club (Jay White, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Hikuleo) defeated Ryusuke Taguchi, Toru Yano, Togi Makabe and Hirooki Goto when White pinned Taguchi.

Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White was made to sweat by his Taguchi Japan opposition, with Goto hitting some effective offense, and Taguchi even sinking in Oh My and Garankle. In the end though, a Bladerunner meant Bullet Club left with heads high.

4th Match: Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Taiji Ishimori and Chase Owens) defeated Toa Henare, Mikey Nicholls and Juice Robinson when Fale pinned Henare.

Fale showed his power to fellow Kiwi Henare, scoring the win with a Grenade as he is set to challenge IWGP US Champion Juice Robinson Saturday at Sengoku Lord.

3rd Match: Suzuki Gun (El Desperado, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Minoru Suzuki) defeated Ren Narita, Yuji Nagata and Satoshi Kojima when Desperado pinned Narita.

On night one it was Shota Umino and on night two of Road to Dontaku, it was Ren Narita who served as the Young Lion sacrificial lamb to Suzuki for much of this match, Desperado sealing the deal with Pinche Loco.

Match 2: YOSHI-HASHI defeated Shota Umino by pinfall.

The ever impressive Umino challenged YOSHI-HASHI for close to ten minutes, but the CHAOS member scored the pin with Kuma Goroshi.

Match 1: Yuuya Uemura defeated Yota Tsuji by submission.

Both men were celebrating one year since their debuts on this night. One day after Tsuji finally broke a 24 match deadlock of time limit draws, Uemura drew even, and in less time than it took Tsuji to seal the deal on Saturday. This young rivalry is only continuing to escalate.
