Night 3 of Kizuna Road 2019 took place on Sunday, June 16 in Korakuen Hall in Tokyo

In the seventh match, Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo successfully challenged the IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions, Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH). Although Roppongi 3K were able to pull off some remarkably daring moves, the BULLET CLUB team were able to break their flow with some well-practiced disruptive tactics. This degenerated as the match went on and by the end of the match, BULLET CLUB had slipped into foul-play mode once again. By the end of the match, a low-blow from El Phantasmo behind the back of a distracted Red Shoes Unno gave him the space to pull of his CR II finishing move and steal the titles.
After the match, the new champions celebrated by beating their opponents, that was until when Ryusuke Taguchi, who is challenging for the British Cruiserweight championship in Sendai on June 25 came to the pair’s rescue.
The sixth match was between Kazuchika Okada, YOSHI-HASHI & Toa Henare and the Suzuki-gun team of Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr. and Lance Archer. With YOSHI-HASHI and Sabre Jr. fighting over the British Heavyweight championship on June 25 in Sendai, many eyes were on the pair to see if there was any hint as to what might transpire in the match. In the end, it was Archer who finished the match, submitting Henare with an Iron Claw he calls his EBD claw. Suzuki jumped on the mic after the match angrily questioning NJPW officials why he wasn’t put into the G1 Climax.
The fifth match featured Hiroshi Tanahashi, Togi Makabe & Toru Yano taking on BULLET CLUB (Jay White, Yujiro Takahashi & Chase Owens) In a preview of the next day’s NEVER 6-man tag team championship match featuring 4 of the 6 combatants, the two sides tried to use every trick in their book. The two leaders also clashed as their bitter feud continued. In the end it was Owens who managed to sneakily apply a schoolboy to Makabe, leaving Yano, whose style he was aping, furious.
In the fourth match Kota Ibushi, Yuji Nagata, Jyushin Thunder Liger, Tiger Mask & Shota Uino took on Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, SANADA, Shingo Takagi & BUSHI). Naito suffered a laceration from Ibushi early on in the match. Takagi was able to finish the match with a pumping bomber on Umino. At the end L.I.J prepared to finish with their signature fist touch, but EVIL turned his back on the group. A disturbing pall descends on L.I.J.
The third match featured Juice Robinson, Mikey Nicholls & Ryusuke Taguchi took on BULLET CLUB (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Jado.) Robinson & Nicholls showed good teamwork, having had little experience as a duo. The BULLET CLUB for their part decided to isolate Taguchi ahead of his upcoming challenge to El Phantasmo. Taguchi however got the last laugh and submitted Jado with an Oh My & Garankle.
The second match featured Tomohiro Ishii, Tomoaki Honma & Ren Narita as they battled Suzuki-gun (Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & DOUKI.) Sensing weakness, the Suzuki-gun team targeted Narita. Narita fought bravely but ultimately was not able to withstand Taichi’s signature thrust kick, the Tensho Jujiho. After the match, Ishii and Taichi continued to lay into each other with a bitter feud.
In the first match, young lions Yuya Uemura and Yota Tsuji continued their series of singles matches against each other. It was Tsuji who won this bout with a boston crab.
After the conclusion of the 4th match, the participants in G1 Climax 29 were announced as well as their block designation
A memorial ceremony was held before the bell for Atsushi Aoki, who recently passed away.
