December 19, 20 and 21 sees the last NJPW events of the year and the last statements made on the road to the Tokyo Dome and Wrestle Kingdom 14 with three nights of what is sure to be unmissable action.

Night one on December 19 will see a huge main event, as Hiromu Takahashi makes his in ring return, teaming with BUSHI against the Birds of Prey, Will Ospreay & Robbie Eagles. It’s been a long road to recovery from severe neck injury for Takahashi, but the Time Bomb finally ticked once more on November 3 as Hiromu appeared in Osaka to challenge for Will Ospreay’s IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship on January 4. Now we will see him in-ring for the first time in nearly 18 months against one of the most exciting new teams of 2019 in Ospreay and Eagles.

On December 20, the main event will see the Birds of Prey combine forces with YOSHI-HASHI and Kazuchika Okada to take on BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, EVIL and Tetsuya Naito. A lot of moving parts are in place in this bout, as we see in Okada and Naito what could potentially be the main event of the Double Gold Dash on January 5. Other combinations of Naito, Okada, White and Ibushi will be seen throughout all three nights in what should be wild and unpredictable tag matches.

On December 21, the main event will see a six-man preview of January 4’s headline match as Kazuchika Okada and Kota Ibushi face off. More than that though, this will be Jyushin Thunder Liger’s last ever Korakuen Hall matchup as he joins Ibushi and Hiroshi Tanahashi, with Rocky Romero and YOSHI-HASHI rounding out the IWGP Heavyweight Champion’s team.

With previews of Wrestle Kingdom 14 up and down all three Korakuen Hall cards, these events are the ultimate way to round out the year’s action in NJPW!
