The LION’S GATE series is the best place to see the future stars of Japanese pro-wrestling! On May 9th, LION’S GATE PROJECT 5 will feature young talent from KAIENTAI DOJO, HEAT-UP, and of course, New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Young Lions!

Starting the event off, Young Lion Tetsuhiro Yagi will have his debut match against his “senpai” (senior) Hirai Kawato! The 24 year old Tetsuhiro stands at 180 cm and weighs in at 88 kg. With a strong physique and solid background in baseball, he’s got promise as an athletic-style wrestler.

Expect Kawato senpai to show his junior what it means to work your way up in the Young Lions! Kawato’s infamous fire in the ring will be an excellent test for the rookie Tetsuhiro!
