We can now reveal the top three bouts!

A controversial finish notwithstanding, fans loved the contrast of KENTA’s strikes with Cobb’s power and aggression in the semifinals of the first New Japan Cup USA.
#2: Brody King vs KENTA- Detonation December 18
The last match of the year on STRONG became the second most popular of the year. King pushed KENTA to his very limit, and forced the number one contender to reach for desperate measures in a big Detonation main event.
#1: Fred Rosser vs Tom Lawlor: Showdown November 13
Fred Rosser and Tom Lawlor were two newcomers to the cerulean blue this year, but both proved right away they fit in perfectly in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and put in the very best match of the year.
Fred Rosser’s comment:
I just wanna give a massive shout out to all the NJPW fans out there who have followed my career and work up until now. I am thankful to all the love and support that I have received from my fans. You guys are amazing! It’s such a good feeling for me to hear that my match with Tom Lawlor topped the poll for best of NJPWSTRONG 2020. It’s a first for me in my 18+ years in this wrestling business and I’m still on cloud nine! I will be the first to tell you that I wouldn’t be the person I am today without having to face rejection head on and deciding whether to throw in the towel, or blaze another trail in the wrestling world. The best has yet to come for the Suntan Superman Mr No Days Off Fred Rosser. #BlockTheHate!
Tom Lawlor’s comment:
I’m honored to have the beating I gave Fred chosen by the fans as their NJPW Strong match of the year! I mean who doesn’t get excited at the prospect of watching a dismemberment from the comfort of their home?!? And to have the surgeon be myself while Mr No Days Off played the role of the body was a perfect pairing! It’s good to know that the NJPW Strong fans have great taste!
