Nagoya fallout comes to Korakuen

Main event- Elimination Tag Team Match: Suzuki-Gun (Taichi, Zack Sabre Jr., El Desperado, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & DOUKI) vs BULLET CLUB (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Taiji Ishimori, El Phantasmo & Jado)

The main event tonight sees elimination tag team warfare between Suzuki-Gun and BULLET CLUB collide. Elimination tag martches are always chaotic affairs, and this should be no different, with the two teams beginning 2021 at one another’s throats. After a IWGP Jr. heavyweight Tag Team match loaded with controversy in Ota on January 23, El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru will be looking to finally get revenge on El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori, while DOUKI, having pinned Gedo in Ota last week, wants to further his case for a singles match against Jado.

Taking center stage however, will be the rivalry between the Guerrillas of Destiny and Dangerous Tekkers. After Tama Tonga used Taichi’s Iron Fingers From Hell to help he and Tanga Loa to their record setting seventh IWGP Tag Team Championship win at the Tokyo Dome, Tonga didn’t just take the tag titles, but the iron fingers to boot. With no honour among thieves, Taichi might have acknowledged the title loss, but could not accept the theft of his iron glove, inherited from Takashi Iizuka when he retired. ZSJ meanwhile is hell bent on regaining the tag belts on February 10 in Hiroshima. With championships and deep personal hatred all emerging, this should be an unmissable main event.

3rd Match: CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & Kazuchika Okada) vs BULLET CLUB (Yujiro Takahashi, Dick Togo & EVIL)

The third match of the evening sees the ongoing issues between CHAOS and BULLET CLUB continue. At Nagoya, Kazuchika Okada and Toru Yano will team for a straight tag match against EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi, but now Dick Togo rejoins the fray officially. Okada’s long campaign for a singles match against EVIL presses on, but what steps will the Rainmaker take tonight?

2nd Match: Kota Ibushi, Tomoaki Honma, SHO & Master Wato vs Los Ingobernables De Japon (SANADA, Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI)

The second match of the evening will see three previews of Hiroshima action, as well as Tomoaki Honma’s ongoing struggle with Tetsuya Naito, come to the fore. Just this week in Korakuen, Kota Ibushi, SANADA, Hiromu Takahashi and SHO were involved in an instant classic main event six man tag team match that ended in a 30 minute draw. With 20 on the clock tonight, will we be able to reach a conclusion between two highly motivated teams?

1st Match: Yota Tsuji vs Gabriel kidd

Singles record: 7-5-1 Tsuji

The night’s action begins with Yota Tsuji meeting Gabriel Kidd in singles action for the first time since November. After their clashes in the unofficial C Block in the G1 last year saw a great deal of attention from fans all over the world, will Tsuji continue to assert superiority over Kidd, or will the Briton close the gap to the Noge Dojo member?
