Big matches added to New Beginning USA 2021 【NJoA】

Huge main events through February on NJPW STRONG

Finally on February 26, Jon Moxley will defend the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship against KENTA in what could well be professional wrestling’s most hotly anticpated match. But that’s not all fans can expect to see during New Beginning USA 2021!

Next week, the Road to The New Beginning USA 2021 kicks off with Rey Horus facing TJP. Two highly experienced masters of the junior heavyweight craft will tie up for the very first time on February 5’s edition of NJPW STRONG. On separate sides of the Super J-Cup 2020 bracket, Horus and TJP both fell in hard fought first round matches to Blake Christian and ACH respectively. That wasn’t for a lack of ability though, and next Friday, both men will seek to show the world what they can do.

On February 12’s edition of STRONG, TJP headlines again, this time with Ren Narita. The two will face Team Filthy’s Chris Dickinson and Danny Limelight in tag team action. Both Narita and Dickinson made impressive debuts on STRONG. Dickinson picked up the win in his tag team debut before submitting Rocky Romero on January 29, while Narita submitted Bateman in his own debut on January 22. their interactions should be fascinating to watch, as should Danny Limelight, who has a history with TJP that looks to be revived in the ring here.

On February 19, Lio Rush goes head to head with El Phantasmo. The hotly anticipated debut of Rush in NJPW at the Super J-Cup ultimately ended in defeat as ELP beat the ‘Man of the Hour’ in typically controversial form. On January 29, it was Rush coming out on top of the six man tag team main event with an impressive roll-up victory. Now at The New Beginning USA 2021, Rush looks to prove his superiority with a more emphatic win, but Phantasmo’s ability, and potentially loaded boot, are not to be ignored.

Catch all these main events this February on NJPW World!
