FinJuice make successful IMPACT debuts 【NJoA】

FinJuice defeat Reno Scum as tensions build with ‘Good Brothers’ on IMPACT

After a surprise vignette closed IMPACT Wrestling’s No Surrender event at the weekend, David Finlay and Juice Robinson made their IMPACT debuts this Tuesday, tackling established team Reno Scum, Adam Thorsnstowe and Luster ‘The Legend’.

Luster would start the match for Reno Scum, and saw first hand the effective teamwork that brought FinJuice to back to back World Tag League finals, with quick tags and arm ringers before a double bulldog. Luster’s power came through however with a big spinebuster to Finlay to bring Thornstowe inside.

Finlay had to battle from underneath for a period, but when Luster missed a double team headbutt, Finlay would send his opponents crashing into one another to make the tag to Juice. Robinson cleaned house and landed a Cannonball before going for Pulp Friction on Thornstowe before a boot from Luster broke the move up.

Reno Scum couldn’t keep Juice down though, as Finlay broke up a double team attempt to set up for the PowerPlex, giving FinJuice the win in an impressive IMPACT debut.

Post match though, the newcomers were welcomed to IMPACT by Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows. Anderson invited FinJuice for drinks, but with a stinging callback to when Juice and Finlay were Young Lion understudies to the BULLET CLUB alums in NJPW. Robinson and Finlay responded that times have long since changed, as backed up by their result tonight.

You’ll be able to watch this match in its entirety on NJPW World from Thursday February 18!
