Nakanishi:
‘Well, (Oka) still has a long way to go. But that’s really only down to experience in the ring. He has an imposing look, he has the stamina, and he has a longer reach than me. I think he’ll be in a very exciting spot next year, two years from now. He may even take shape this year.’

-- We received an update on Tomoaki Honma’s condition before the show tonight. What are your thoughts as someone who has come back from a serious spinal injury?

Nakanishi:
‘When I was coming back, I trained harder than anyone. That day, the bus left from the dojo at 9 so I was working out there at 7:30. It seems early to say it as I know he isn’t fully mobile yet, but I think even though his body isn’t co-operating, his mind is ready to go. I want and really believe we will see his smiling face in the ring again. As wrestlers, we can make miracles happen.'


Oka:
‘It seemed whatever I did to Nakanishi today he wouldn’t go down. Kicks, punches, no good. We’re from the same home town, so I can understand but on the mat as well, his wrestling, his ground game is ridiculously strong. I’m lacking something. But I will grow! I will get better! You can look forward to it. Until all the other wrestlers are scared of me. That’s all.’
