BIOGRAPHY

After turning heads with an aggressive attitude an effective, hard hitting in ring style, Ren Narita impressed as a Young Lion before entering the 2019 Young Lion Cup.

Narita would end the tournament tied for second place. Eager to learn more, he would ask to join Katsuyori Shibata’s LA Dojo, and was accepted, heading to the US to continue his journey. With matches against Tom Lawlor and Will Ospreay, Narita continued his advance in the US. Ending his excursion by defeating Juice Robinson in a bloody Las Vegas war, Narita rebranded himself as the Son of Strong Style, and made his homecoming October 10 2022 at Declaration of Power.

Narita would enter the tournament to crown the first NJPW World TV Champion, and stunned crowds with big wins over Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano and SANADA. Now set to face Zack Sabre Jr. in the final at Wrestle Kingdom 17, the Son of Strong Style stood to make history and spearhead a ‘changing of the guard’. Though Narita fell just short of the gold at the final hurdle, a twist in the tale at New Year Dash saw him courted by Minoru Suzuki and El Desperado.
