BIOGRAPHY

A CHAOS fan favorite, YOSHI-HASHI trained in Mexico starting in May 2010, and returned to NJPW to join CHAOS in January 2012. Although he failed to initially find clear successes, his popularity slowly grew due to his unique personality and showmanship outside the ring. On August 9 2020, after over 12 years of challenges and setbacks, YOSHI-HASHI finally tasted championship gold, winning his first title alongside Hirooki Goto and Tomohiro Ishii as NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion. YOSHI-HASHI had more team success alongside Hirooki Goto, the Bishamon tag team winning World Tag League in 2021 and 2022, converting their tournament success to IWGP Tag Team gold at successive Wrestle Kingdoms.

A gripping reign to start 2023 was cut off by Aussie Open, but when the Australian duo had to vacate their IWGP and STRONG tag titles, Bishamon won a three way for the vacant titles to become three time champions. In December 2023, Bishamon won the World Tag League three times, the first time this has happened in New Japan History. Bishamon declared a challenge to the STRONG Openweight Tag Team titles, looking to reign over the tag division as dual Champions.
