At over 2 meters tall, “The Murder-hawk Monster” Lance Archer can prove to be an unsettling and brutal opponent in the ring.
Debuting in July 2000, Archer has competed all over the world, including TNA and the WWE. In June of 2011, though, he joined Suzuki-Gun and formed the two time IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team title winning K.E.S. (“Killer Elite Squad”) with Davey Boy Smith Jr.
As a singles wrestler, a career resurgence in the 2019 G1 Climax opened the door to an IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship reign in 2019, a reign ended by Jon Moxley. Archer would join Mox in AEW in 2020, and took the US title back from Mox in the summer of 2021, only to lose the gold to Hiroshi Tanahashi in Los Angeles. Archer would have another chance at the top in NJPW the next summer though, as he entered his first g1 Climax in three years.
