BIOGRAPHY

Still very new to NJPW and pro wrestling at large, Yuya Uemura has nonetheless made a significant mark. His striking good looks have blended with an impressive pace and athleticism to his offence.

After a months long roivalry with contemporary Yota Tsuji, both were entrants in the Young Lion Cup in September 2019. 

In June 2020, Uemura entered the New Japan Cup for the first time, and entered Best of the Super Jr. 27 as a last minute substitute for the injured Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Heading on excursion in 2021, Uemura joined the LA Dojo that summer, and made his mark on STRONG, teaming with Christopher Daniels to upset TMDK en route to the finals of the STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship tournament.
