BIOGRAPHY

One of the most promising prospects from the  NJPW LA Dojo, Clark Connors received initial training from Lance Storm in Canada, before making a second start under Katsuyori Shibata in LA.

Connors turned heads with a victory over TJP to book his place in New Japan Cup USA 2021. Weeks later, he battled Karl Fredericks in the main event of the LA Dojo Showcase, emerging without the win, but with a superstar aura. On week two of Collision on May 14, Connors officially graduated from the Dojo, and engaged in a huge first year out of Young Lion garb. After challenging Tom Lawlor for the STRONG Openweight Championship in February 2022, he celebrated his first anniversary from graduation with an impressive Best of the Super Jr. debut.

A back injury would sideline Connors, but he would roar back into action at the end of the year, receiving the support of the legendary Ken Shamrock when battling Minoru Suzuki at Rumble on 44th Street, before teaming with Ryusuke Taguchi in Super Jr. Tag League.
