Ultimo Guerrero scores tourney victory for second year in a row
The main event on February 17 in Makuhari Messe saw Los Drepredadores’ Volador Jr and Magnus taking on Ultimo Guerrero and Stuka Jr of Los Guerreros in the final of the Interfaction Tag Tournament.
Magnus started with Stuka with neither man giving until Magnus scored a big tackle. After a basement dropkick to Volador, Los Guerreros took control out on the floor momentarily, but Depredadores would turn the tide as stereo dives saw Volador and Magnus back in the mix.
Volador got quick with Stuka, scoring high octane offense but being taken down by a massive lariat. With the match breaking down, Magnus came in, and a Frankensteiner and Destroyer combination on both members of Los Guerreros almost secured a double pinfall victory.
Instead, Stuka and Guerrero stayed in the fight, and brought the offense. A Torpedo splash from Stuka connected to Volador, but Magnus made a last minute save; the match wasn’t saved for long though and a Guerrero Special off the top was what secured the three.
