In the main event, NJPW Academy standout Zane Jay has a tall task ahead of him taking on TMDK’s Bad Dude Tito. Zane Jay is a complete product of NJPW Academy, trained from the ground up and certainly has a bright future ahead of him although Bad Dude Tito certainly won’t be taking it easy on the newcomer in this match. Can the rising star score the biggest victory of his career or will Tito deny him the moment?

6th Match: CJ Tino & Allan Breeze vs Lucas Riley & Dom Kubrick

This tag team match focuses on all Southern California products looking to claim bragging rights. Riley has prior NJPW experience with several matches on STRONG in the past but this time is teaming up with his partner Kubrick. Tino & Breeze are well familiar with each other, both as partners and as opponents on the SoCal independent scene and while have the motivation to take down a well oiled team here.

5th Match: Zara Zakher vs Jada Stone

Zara Zakher meets Jada Stone in this featured women’s match. Known as ‘The Petite Powerhouse’, Zakher recently debuted in Japan for TJPW and is moving up the ranks on the West Coast independents. Stone calls herself ‘The Spark’ and certainly isn’t intimidated by anyone standing across the ring from her. Each are less than two years into their careers, yet carry themselves with the confidence of industry veterans. With more and more opportunities opening up for women in NJPW, this is surely a chance for one of these competitors to make a statement.

4th Match: The DKC vs Romeo Guzman

Romeo Guzman makes his debut as he welcomes the final test from his coach, The DKC. Guzman is still fresh into the wrestling world, previously trained under Catch Point in Philadelphia, but joined the Beginner’s Course to continue sharpening his fundementals. Although he comes in with the size and strength advantage, could that be enough to score the upset on his coach?

3rd Match: Alex Gracia vs Mylo

In the first women’s match of the night, Alex Gracia takes on Mylo. Mylo returns from the first showcase and already has one victory under her belt at the LA Dojo while Gracia has previously visited STARDOM and CMLL in her young career. Both are familiar with each other and have met in matches in the past and it will be interesting to see who is victorious on this night.

2nd Match: Christian Andrews & Davion Jacot vs El Lycan & Dameon Shadows

This tag match features a wide range of styles and experience and seems pretty evenly matched. Andrews and Jacot might have the skill advantage here, but El Lycan possesses an impressive MMA background, while Dameon Shadows of the Beginner’s Course has a huge opportunity here to show that he’s able to hang with much bigger and powerful opponents. This one may prove to be the most physical match of the evening.

1st Match: Cameron Gates vs Grant Watts vs Casey Ferreira

Kicking off the first Academy showcase of 2024 is a three way match featuring two current Academy attendees and a returning one. Gates was a member of the inaugural class and had an impressive showing on the first showcase against The DKC and Kevin Knight.
