Ibushi:
Things are heating up. I'm firing up, when it comes to Tanahashi. I want to get to this title match, but at the same time there's a lot I want to do first.

I'm not saying I hang on every word Tanahashi says, but I want to take him up on saying I only wrestle to enjoy myself. I never have. I've always been wrestling for everyone to enjoy themselves. But what I want this time is for my wrestling to overcome Tanahashi’s.

-- You seem solely focused on Tanahashi.

Ibushi:
Right. Especially today. I want to be in there with him as much as possible, every time I'm in there I pick something else up. Long way to go yet..

--You’ve obviously been on New Japan tours before, but is this your first time wrestling the same opponent in matches every night?

Ibushi:
Yeah. It's crazy, I've been wrestling for 13 years, in all sorts of places, and doing long tours here, or in DDT. But I've never had this situation, of having the same card each night on the tour. It's a new experience for me, and new experiences add up.

-- You're not only fighting to win every night, but you're feeling one another out ahead of your title match. There's a lot of psychological warfare going on.

Ibushi:
There's still a lot I haven't shown, and a lot he hasn't either. This was, what, the sixth night of the tour? There's a lot he's hiding I think. I want to dig that up, bring it out of him, and take all that to our title match.

-- You're going to have him pull out all the stops November 5?

Ibushi:
That's what I want. In fact, I want to.. or I want him to have me pull out everything I have.

-- Even if you do pull out all the stops, it feels like a match that needs an intangible X factor to win?

Ibushi:
Right. That goes for both of us. There's a lot we haven't put out there yet. I want to put it all out there in the ring!

Tanahashi:
Well, I’m feeling better and better every day, no worries there. So! Professor Tanahashi has a homework problem for you. Tanahashi minus Ibushi equals? Ibushi minus Tanahashi equals?

Maybe if he can figure out the answer to that, Ibushi might grow up some. That's more of a hint than a problem..
