Robinson:
‘Yesterday was the first round of New Japan Cup. I beat Yujiro Takahashi and advanced to the quarter-final. I'm not satisfied with this win. I will continue my winning streak! I just need three more wins to be a champion. Next opponent is Katsuyori Shibata. It sure will be a tougher fight than the first round, Shibata is a true samurai so. That said, I ain’t scared of him. I don’t think he is underestimating me and I know that he gives everything that he has in every single match. He was a former champion of NEVER before Goto won it. I’ve challenged Goto in Sapporo, though I lost. If I didn’t make that stupid mistake, then the result would have favored my side. This is the battleground of New Japan Cup. Losing the match means termination. Mistakes are unacceptable here. I know that Shibata is a tough son of a bXXXX, and I admit that part of me is already nervous. I just got to watch out for that PK, then I’ll have a good chance to win it. Just gotta find a way so that he can’t land the PK. Shibata is a big opponent and that fact never change. One mistake will determine the winner. That goes for both him and me. I just got to do my best. I will make him into a stepping stone for me to move forward.’

--Recently, Shibata has mastered some European moves, how do you feel about that?

Robinson:
‘I know that. But, I also learned European styles from Robbie Brookside and William Regal. So I can handle whatever moves Shibata is going to try on me. I can say definitely that my style is American. But that’s not all about me, I have experience in European style and learned  Japanese style at New Japan. It doesn’t mean I’m gonna take Shibata to the ground or anything like that.  There’ll be hard and rough punches and kicks. I’m all prepared for that. It's gonna be him or me. Beating ass out of Shibata. That’s all in my mind aright now.’
