'The reason because “Best of the Super Jr.” have been successful is only due to having Liger and I completely understand it. For me to follow in his step, I just can’t give up here. At the “Super Jr.,” this was the last time Will Ospreay face against Liger because he, himself has said it’s his last appearance. All of this just means so much for me. (※Becomes very emotional) He, the Liger is a legend, and his existence cannot be inherited by anybody else. I watched him over and over again on the video since I was a little boy. His theme song still plays over and over again in my head. He will always be my number one hero. That has not changed over these past times. But, entering “Super Jr.” made him turn into my rival from the hero. Winning today’s match was such a joy to myself. It’s a different feeling than winning the league last year. I could never become a Liger, but I want to embrace and follow the footsteps of Liger’s desire and what he has contributed to the Junior Heavyweight title. Thank you very much!'

'These guys are so strong. Both A and B has the world class top wrestlers. It’s awesome! Just like Ospreay, Ricochet and Dragon Lee as well. These young wrestlers have grown so much. I’m happy on one side, and at the same time, I feel myself getting weaker and weaker, to the point that I’m unable to defeat them. So, it may sound like a cheap move, but this will be my last rounds system tournament. If it was a single match competition or title’s match, then it will be an entirely different thing. I mean, these two weeks tournaments are all about winning and moving up the ladder, it’s not just about the fight. Winning the matches and moving forwards requires strength of younger fighters… Thank you very much!'
