H.o.T night in cold Sapporo as NEVER 6 champs retain

HOUSE OF TORTURE move to V2 with the NEVER titles

February 20’s New Year’s Golden Series closer in Sapporo saw HOUSE OF TORTURE defend the NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Championships against CHAOS’ YOH, Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI.

The match would get off to a quick start, the champions using the cover of darkness during EVIL’s entrance to attack and start a match full of trickery and rule breaking. As Tomohiro Ishii joined the fray, attempting to even the odds and take care of Dick Togo, YOSHI-HASHI was left to take a turnbuckle exposed by SHO before Yujiro Takahashi kept up the assault on the floor.

The Headhunter would manage to get a tag to Hirooki Goto after a suplex to EVIL, Goto landing clattering blows to the champions including a lariat to SHO that brought YOH inside. YOH would almost secure victory with his Out of Print submission, but after SHO made the ropes, the Murder Machine pulled the referee into his former partner’s path to slow his momentum.

With the referee drawn the champions sought to push the advantage, but challengers refused to lose. YOH landed a tope con giro to SHO as Shoto struck to Yujiro for a certain three, but the referee would be hauled out from ringside by Dick Togo, who connected with EVIL on a Magic Killer to YOSHI-HASHI.

CHAOS stayed in the hunt, and again turned the tables on Yujiro, but this time it was SHO making the difference. Pulling Goto to the floor, he followed with a wrench shot to YOSHI-HASHI, leaving him easy prey for Big Juice for the Takahashi win.
