-- How was Ishii?

Ibushi:
‘I think we progressed along the same track as three years ago. Just rugged, physical. I had to give it all I had tonight. Sometimes you feel like you can beat someone in a league match like this but that it's a different story if it was a title match. But win or lose you give it everything. That's what I did and this time I won. So I'm happy about that.’

-- Your second win tonight, congratulations.

Ibushi:
‘I think now I'm starting to feel like “maybe, if i can keep this up…” I think I've started to get a true feel of the top of New Japan. I felt a little of that with Naito, but I wasn't quite there yet. After Zack, and after tonight, I feel I've gotten back in the swing of things.’

-- Does this feel different to your last G1?

Ibushi:
‘Yeah, it's completely different as far as my mentality goes. Honestly, I can't remember much of my last G1. This time I'm focused. This time I'm putting everything I have into every moment, so this time I'll make those memories last. Thank you.’
