YOSHI-HASHI:
‘So, wrestling Sugiura today, the form on his dropkick, and how he did that missile dropkick as well, he reminded me of Okada in his Young Lion days. Sugiura usually wrestles in a hardcore promotion, but today was regular pro wrestling. I think if he applies himself in pro wrestling, leaving all the weapons behind, he's got good potential. As it is, he can't beat me, but if the chance comes up, I'd like to wrestle him again.’
Sugiura:
‘I’m very frustrated. I came here representing FREEDOMS as a KFC Tag Champion and really wrestled to win. It's frustrating. But I can chalk this up to experience, and it was a fun match for me. FREEDOMS is a deathmatch promotion and I did want to bring that spirit to this match, but it was tough. The clincher was that Butterfly Lock. He's won a lot of matches with that. It's a really painful hold. But FREEDOMS isn't going to give in easily. I want to wrestle New Japan more! Anybody, any number of times it takes, until I can get a win. That's all.’
